CYBTHIA DANIELS
Cynthia Daniels is a classically trained actor with over 20 years of experience. At fifteen,
Cynthia won the titles of both Miss Black Teenage Texas and Miss Black Teenage
America where she was crowned in New York City’s Madison Square Garden in front of
a live and national syndicated television audience. The sponsor was Pepsi Cola, which
she would also, do both print and ad commercials. Her reign provided the opportunity
for her and her mother to travel across the U.S. She appeared on Broadway at the
Shubert Theater, made special appearances like the NAACP Image Awards, guest
starred on TV Shows like MGMs’ Medical Center w/late veteran actor Chad Everett, did
interviews on talk shows as either a guest/performer which earned Cynthia a
membership into the Screen Actor’s Guild at fifteen.
It was the July/2000, when Cynthia made her debut at the Encore Theater in Houston
as both a playwright/actor in her one-woman performance “Bruised, but Not Broken”
based on her life. It was her comeback to her first love of the theater which led to
performing at National Black Theater Festival in Winston-Salem, NC, The Los Angeles
Women’s Festival, The Complete Actor’s Studio in Studio City, CA., Laney Collage, The
Oakland Black Box Theater and numerous of other venues across the U.S. She
continues to be booked for organizations and college campuses.
Cynthia received her B.A. in University of Southern California in Los Angeles and before
she would graduate married former Heavyweight Champion, George Foreman. The
couple lived between Houston and his ranch in Marshall, Texas before the marriage
dissolved.

January 2005, Cynthia launched Cynthia Foreman’s Sweetie Pies and Signature
Products first in Northern California and later in 3800 Walgreens’ nationally. “He got the
grill but I Kept the Oven” was her tagline. Great friends like Bill Russell’s Celebrity
Basketball Weekend at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas were each celebrity player was
given a gift basket of her famous sweet potato and pecan pies and shortbread cookies,
other support came from her Raiders’ family along with providing gift bags during the
holiday season for current players and Joe Morgan’s Celebrity Golf Tournament it was
these friends and organizations that inspired and encouraged me.
But Cynthia’s #1 supporter was her late husband and the love of her life for 20 years
Clem Daniels (a legend for the Oakland Raiders) who was the first
entrepreneur/businessman to share not only his wisdom but guide her with his loving
hands. In, 2017 for personal reasons she suspended her business to care for loved
ones. She has continued her relationship with her Las Vegas Raiders family that follow
the motto of the late Al Davis “Commitment to Excellence.” Cynthia still is active with
various domestic violence outreach groups and since relocating back to Houston
continues to work along side her church family under the leadership of Dr. Sheldon L.
Jackson, Pastor of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Cynthia is looking forward to coming back to the stage and theatre. Her grounding in technique
and the new skills she has gained has prepared her for a new and exciting chapter in her
professional life with The Pews Are Talking.
